Looking For A New Gaming Console? Why Not Try The Wii?

Who doesn’t love games?!? I don’t think I can name one person who doesn’t enjoy playing video games online or offline, it’s just a fact of life! Between the DS lites and the Xbox 360s there’s no denying that gaming is a large part of a lot of people’s lives. According to market researcher David Cole, who runs the firm DFC Intelligence, his best estimate is that 40 percent of U.S. households own a working video-game console. Michael Pachter, an analyst for Wedbush Morgan Securities, estimates that 52% of households own consoles. Neither Cole nor Pachter is counting handheld devices, such as Nintendo’s Game Boy or Sony’s PlayStation Portable (PSP). Whether it’s 40% or 52% those are still pretty large percentages regarding ownership of gaming consoles! I don’t know about you but, I have at least three major consoles and I just bought a DSlite very recently and I absolutely love it!

The one console I don’t have that I really want is the Wii along with the ifit, once or twice I have played on it with the boxing game and it seems like a really cool wait to not only blow off some steam but only get your heart pumping. As long as you can get past looking like a semi idiot, bouncing around punching; nothing, then you can really get into this game and this console! The Wii is usually pretty expensive even if you manage to buy one on eBay! A few weeks ago I fought for it but stopped at $500. Eventually two people fought and it got sold for $4500! Recently however, being the researcher I am, I found a few sites online that allow you to buy Wiis for a really great price, these stores are known as cheap or discount stores. I prefer the word discount because when you say the word “cheap” a lot of people assume it’s of lesser quality which just isn’t the case!

These sites are cool because they aren’t some big whig store like Circuit City or Best Buy but, they still carry high quality consoles, games and accessories, plus they are 50% cheaper than the brand name stores. The only thing you really have to do is make sure the site your buying from is legit, you can do this by simply going to your favorite search engine and looking for reviews about the website in mind. You will either find good things or bad things, but take notice if you hear 99 great reviews and 1 bad review, chances are it’s still a great store, but that person is probably trying to cause problems for whatever reason! It’s a shame, but it does happen! If the site looks good and you see good reviews, and they offer good prices, I say go for it! You don’t have anything to lose, only a Wii to gain, and to me that’s well worth the research to find an affordable one online! Good luck!
