It is difficult to find blogger who will easily get tired of blogging. In case you don’t know what a blog is. A blog, otherwise called a weblog, is like an online journal or diary that can be updated easily without prior expertise on HTML coding.
Article marketing has been a traditional tool for authors wishing to promote their books or information products. But lately, there has been an increase in the number of bloggers using article marketing as a means of driving traffic to their blogs. You might just want to do that too!
There are three important reasons bloggers should engage in article marketing.
1. You already have lots of contents waiting to be read in each post on your blog. Remember that each article should contain nothing less than 200 words. If you are a good writer or blogger, you might find it very easy to post up to 50 articles without stress. If you can’t go as far as that, I would advise you combine different post relating to a similar theme or topic, until you have articles containing over 200 words. You can now consider distributing your articles via marketing.
2. Bloggers and regular websites face a general problem; the problem of how to build traffic. Article marketing can solve such a problem. How? Through article marketing, you can now drive so much traffic to your site, year in, year out. It enables quality back links to be built; thereby expanding your reach to those who never knew your blog existed.
3. Bloggers use the internet more often than authors. Hence, most bloggers possess adequate know-how on how to create income with pay per click (PPC) advertising programs. As a blogger, you might already be familiar with keywords and catchy titles for your articles. This is a key to maximum traffic and viewing of your articles.
If you are already a blogger, but a greenhorn when it comes to article marketing, I’ve compiled a series of steps on how to get you started.
1. Produce a cache of between 10 and 25 articles from your existing blog content.
2. Have them submitted to major article directories that are relevant to your field of expertise. Or you might have them submitted to Ezine publishes if you so wish.
3. Repeat the steps above until you have between 250 and 1,000 articles, or even more, in distribution. You might want to hire a college student or an editor, if you have a busy schedule.
4. Sit back, relax, and watch your blog’s traffic counter rise by the moment, like yeast. You should smile now, because your articles are working hard, driving quality traffic to your blog.
A word of caution, though! Article marketing is not some sort of magic, so don’t expect your traffic counter to sky-rocket overnight. It’s a gradual process, and if you utilize this strategy, you would notice an increase in traffic and popularity surpassing what your experiences of ordinarily blogging. And what is more, you will experience sales increase, or you might get a new job. This will increase your blog’s rank in search engines; a benefit derived only from article marketing strategy.
