How I Got 2213 Facebook Friends With No Profile

I’m going to start you out with some basic Facebook etiquette because if you break the basic rules on this social network your account will get banned in a heartbeat.

Facebook is especially strict and the admins have a zero tolerance policy for spam and bots.

Soon I’ll give you specific tactics on how I use Facebook to grow my business, get more visitors to my website, and increase my brand recognition, awareness and goodwill.

Facebook is great for business and has achieved tremendous adoption and growth because it’s a protected environment and you can easily connect with influencers you probably never would’ve reached through any other channel.

This is the true power of the social network and probably why they’re so strict…to protect how powerful it is and keep abusers and spammers out.

Sometimes it has a very ‘Big Brother’ feel to it like something out of 1984. But spam is bogging down the net and fighting it off is good even when some innocents get caught in the crossfire.

The problem is when newbies come in and don’t understand the rules nor the Facebook specific definition of spam.

These guys mean well but unfortunately sometimes the “baby gets thrown out with the bathwater”.

Even some very experienced and seasoned users of the site like Robert Scobliezer have been banned and had their account shut down. He later got it reinstated but why waste time with that unnecessary hassle.

I’ll start you off on the right foot in order to avoid these time wasting and frustration inducing issues from the jump.

You will spend quite a bit of time building up 500 or 1,000 friends and making solid deep connections so you want to protect your time investment.

Here are some basic rules you want to follow.

When you’re sending friend requests always include a personal message and only send the same message to 8-9 people before using a different one. Realize this is a general guideline and Facebook changes their algorithm periodically. To be ultra safe at the start you may want to send only 5 of the same personal message each day.

This ‘message’ field is available for your friend requests and I strongly urge you to include a personal message in each friend request because you’ll have a higher probability of them accepting your request.

They won’t tell exactly what their filter is but right now it seems if you send 10 or more of the same messages on the same day it triggers one of their filters and you’ll get warned. This changes periodically but as long as you stay under this low limit you should be fine.

It’s almost like your parent slapping the back of your hand… it stings for a while but you get over it. However, you get enough of those account warnings, seems to be between three and five, and the quickly fading hand sting becomes a swollen, painful nightmare. Your account gets disabled.

When you’re sending out your friend requests make sure to have a few different messages you can use so you don’t look like a spammer sending the same thing over and over.

I recommend, and do this myself, you include a personal message telling how you know them or mention a mutual friend’s name and what kind of business or reason you’re contacting them.

In this case you want to be friends and network with them to mutual benefit.

Also make sure to only send three or four of the same messages in e-mail otherwise it can look like spam to the Facebook algorithm. Use Facebook events here instead of sending out multiple e-mails with the same message.

This is what events are for and allow you to send all your friends notification with a link to the admin page where you put all the relevant information about your site or product launch or what ever you’re promoting.

Follow these basics and you’ll have a good networking experience on Facebook. The contacts and connections I’ve made have been invaluable to my business and overall goals in life.

5 Killer Reasons Why Article Marketing Powers Your Online Business Ideas Profitably

But, the key is that you do it right! Marketing online business ideas through article marketing means that especially the content is of high quality and persuades the readers to click the link in the Bio Box and to arrive the landing page of your online business opportunity. Otherwise it is time wasted.

One of the greatest benefits of the article marketing is that it will increase the search engine ranking of your online business ideas site. This means ranking on the result pages of related keywords and this means increased number of visitors to your site.

Other online marketers love useful, fresh content and this is the reason why many of them will bookmark your articles from article directories or can even copy them to their own sites or blogs. This does good for your online business opportunities, because people who see your article copied think that it must be really good.

The article marketing has great benefits: it brings leads, it builds your own brand and it presells your online business ideas and makes the reader to want more from the landing page. Actually there is one more benefit as to timing, article marketing works during a long period of time, day and night.

Actually, there is only one reason to write and that is not technical but creative. You write about your online home business, because you want to share useful information to the readers. That is the most important thing.

If you have difficulties to find ideas for article marketing, go to search engine and type some creative ideas into the search box and soon you have lots of online business ideas in use. Another way is to go to some of the best article directories and to surf through their latest articles.

I prefer personal style, not keyword stuffed, artificial or copied articles. If you think brand building, your own ideas will build it best. Use lots of emotion in your online business ideas marketing, because that is what makes people to act.

Because article marketing is dependable about the content and because there are so much rubbish, one way to increase the quality and usefulness is to tell about your own experiences or your own online business ideas.

The power comes from the fact that when you tell honestly what has happened to your online business opportunities, you can also tell about the negative things and to warn the reader about certain things.

And one more thing. Check that your article has no writing errors, because even one makes the article to look second class and this has a bad effect.

These articles about online business ideas are mass products and not even meant to be unique and original. That is why you should distribute them to as many places as possible. In this sense articles are like newspapers. The more people see them the better.

How To Index A 4000 Page Website?

This is common question.

First of all, Google looks for quality. It’s hard for Google to index duplicate pages, so if you have identical pages get rid of them, or make them unique.

Ask yourself the question, do I have enough value on each of these pages? It will be hard to index pages with low value, with no unique content.

But assuming that is fixed - (having unique meta tags is recommended if you have a webmaster that can do it for you) your next step is to create a Google Webmaster Account, for free. Plus create a sitemap xml file using one of the free software available.

Then upload sitemap xml file to your Google Webmaster Account. It helps Google find all your 4000 pages fast.

Having a web based sitemap is also a good idea, but create it in a good manner that if a visitor lands on your page won’t see a ton of links.

Do not for example put 4000 links one under the other. Put some sort of categories, subcategories - properly organized.

Truly, those changes will effect how the pages get indexed.

Make sure that each page of the 4000 pages (or more depending how many you have) is linking from somewhere. If you create a sitemap all pages will have one link from the sitemap.

But you can for example link one page to another that have similar content. For example there is a page about dog vitamins and another page about dog food. On the dog food page you can put text link:

Learn more about Dog Vitamins.

Link it to the dog vitamins page.

But only do this linking if it will provide the visitor value. If it truly is related page worth looking at.

Your visitors comes first, trying to cheat search engines will results in penalties and negative results! Google is highly advanced and getting more so.

Even if you have an article that talks about dog vets. Inside the article link to some other page related in some way or another. Maybe you have a page about dog health.

Why you do this?

So that spiders find all your 4000 pages by moving from page to page. The sitemap on your website helps find all your pages, the Google Webmaster Tools’s sitemap.xml does same thing.

You want spiders to find your 4000 pages for them to get indexed. Get rid of any unwanted external links these pages may have - and make use of one common menu for all pages. Your website pages should be organized neatly.

Pages about dog food health should be organized in the folder called dog-food-health

Pages about dog vitamins should be placed in the folder called dog-vitamins

You are making your website valuable for your visitors - that’s the aim of these techniques, that’s what search engines want. Give them that and they index your pages - otherwise they do not need another bunch of 4000 pages.

There is something else you can do that is article submission. Submit articles and in bio link to the sitemap and to other pages of your website. This helps spiders find your website pages easier as well.

Article submission is the number one method to get them indexed. They will flood your website with backlinks and that’s what spiders want to index pages - if a page has a lot of backlinks pointing to it, then it’s worth indexing.

How To SEO Blogger Blogs

This is very neat and helpful even for your entire website, assuming it’s not just a blog you have.

It is something you can do, but these are onpage optimization tips for Bloggers. For Wordpress blogs there are free plugins, that allow you to optimize your blogs in various ways.

So your blogger blog needs some modification, the template basically.

First of all, your blog posts themselves when you are writing I only suggest you do keyword research first.

Pick a keyword and create a post around it. Pick keywords that do not have high competitions so the blog post itself can get highly ranked as well. For example you find a keyword like buy online dog food.

Means you can create a blog post and put title as, How To Buy Online Dog Food.

Then I suggest you write a blog post in a normal fashions no keyword stuffing just write for your visitors, that way you should be using at least one time the keyword or part of it. Plus variations of it. That’s the right way to create content nowadays. No “spamming”, but the natural way.

Another thing I would do sometimes, but not always so my blog does not have an “ugly” look - is put the title of the blog post at the beginning and end of the blog post itself. Plus make it bold.

For the Blogger template now.

First thing you want to do is remove external links - like the Blogger badget/button. External links will reduce your pagerank.

Preferable if your blog is located on your website and you have other pages not just a blog, then put a main menu on the blog as well. It should feature your most important pages. But if your blog is on free blogger - that step is not for you.

Exchange links with other blogs, is something good - but I suggest you limit the number of blogroll links (links on the sidebar of your blogs) to say 45 or less.

Plus exchange links with related websites only - that’s my suggestion. For the blogroll (which is not a links page) I would prefer to exchange links with only related sites or blogs.

So just make your blog look great in the eyes of your visitors - and neat.

If you want to show archives, labels or categories block them from being indexed - Important! You can block using robots file or make them a drop down menu (instead of text links). Spiders can’t crawl links in the drop down menus.

You want to block them because they just display what’s already on your blog - means duplicate content.

You don’t want that - not for a penalty which you will hardly get - but it will be more difficult for the pages (duplicate pages) to get indexed. Overall indexing may get somewhat hurt.

That covers pretty much everything about onpage optimization for your blog.

Black Hat SEO Is Too Risky

Here’s my personal experience, with black hat seo methods. The sort of tools most newbies fall victim of. This will help you learn from my mistakes, my experience. Even though I did not do any harm to other people, I did harm for my own websites especially the rankings.

Black hat - I experienced it myself like years ago. I tried it too, those tricks like search engine clicker for example. Mass blog creation and posting on them and other stuff.

Risky stuff, you can apply them and test them out but things like getting banned and several penalties will be a common thing for your website.

I mean, people who wants shortcuts, who want high rankings but do not want to lift an arm, those are the victims of black hat. Which is nothing more than cheating search engines.

Natural seo - that’s the methods I now use. Safe, and there are software to practically do everything automated, including the ability to hire people.

In fact you be surprised to know what I do in terms of SEO - I mean, what they do (software and people I hire) will take some time to explain. But what I do nope, in terms of seo, I can tell it all out in 5-10 minutes.

Once you know what to do, you can automate the process!

Your first few steps in learning the right things can be time consuming but it’s a requirement.

However, most people think it will take a lot of work. If you have money to hire some people (like $100 or $150/month) and buy some software it isn’t.

Always think of the results you are going to achieve for this effort. The money you are gonig to make, the leads you are going to capture - or the adsense clicks, the affiliate commissions.

Calculate how much money you are going to make.

To calculate conversion of your website, take a period like a month, and in same month calculate how many traffic you get being number 1 for your keyword. Use keyword research tools to calculate the daily or monthly traffic of a keyword.

For most businesses it is 1 percent conversion, so for every 100 visitors ONE will buy. So if you get 20000 visitors a month and you earn $25 a sale that means you earn $4000 a month. If you sell one item.

Sounds great doesn’t it. Now, $4000 may not be $10,000 but I just gave you an example. 20000 is measly traffic compared to what you can get!

Think about conversion, calculate it! Stay motivated.

Once you know how to do SEO, it’s a game you can play.
