Affiliate Earning Unleashed! How to Have Extremely Powerful Affiliate Success Results in Days

Often times it seems like people are searching for quick fix, fast solutions to becoming successful; and the truth is that most of the time they will be disappointed. It can seem challenging to discover the truth that it in fact takes ‘work’ to become successful on the internet as in anywhere else. But the good news is that the work need not be unduly arduous, and that it really is possible to experience extremely powerful affiliate earning success results within days. But those will be busy days ;)

Ok. So what do you need to get cracking? There are several stages to the process of affiliate success. The first of these is market research. Now, often you will hear to choose niche markets. Forget that. It is generally bad advice. If you wanted a drink of water, would you go to a desert? Or would you go to a Lake? Well the same is true in affiliate marketing. Don’t go to the desert of low amounts of people and low demand. Go to whopping, huge, lake like markets, where you and thousands of others can swim around together quite happily, and all get rich.

So choose markets like real estate, dieting and making money. Where there is huge potential. Don’t get me wrong, niche markets can work. But why bother trying? Why sell 100 products, when you can sell 10,000?

Secondly. Product selection. The whole essence of affiliate marketing is that you are promoting someone elses product. So you are immediately faced with a challenge. Namely, that on the negative side of the equation you do not have quality control over it, so any product you choose could get better or worse in the future, but that either way it is not directly under your control. Sounds bad right? Well, consider the flip side to that. YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY PRODUCT TO PROMOTE THAT YOU LIKE!!! Read that again please. Because it’s a biggy.

The product that you promote might not be directly under your control, but you have a whole world of products to choose from. So who cares that you don’t control it. Pick a great product to begin with and you won’t have an issue. And how will you know what that it? Well, you could buy it. Or you can ask people. Or you can read books or magazines. Or you can read reviews. Its not that tough. Great products stand out. Its quite easy to pick them out.

Thirdly, sign up for the affiliate program and start promoting. You can build sites. Build optin in email lists. Drive traffic via pay per click traffic. There are all manner of methods to have extremely powerful affiliate success results in days. And if you visit the links below I go into more detail about them.

What is Blogging? Weird Blogging and the Battlestar Gallactica Blog!

Blogging has exploded in the last few years. It’s not like it’s a new phenomena, at least relatively speaking, because it’s actually been around since the very beginnings of the world wide web. But what has changed, is that blogging is now being seen as a mainstream tool, and hence is increasingly being used by businesses to promote themselves. In a way, this is good, because it does mean that consumers are increasingly getting more and more information about products and services that they use on a regular basis. However, on the flip side of that, it has served to dampen some of the more weird and eccentric blogging that used to be the rule rather than the exception. In a sense it is a philosophical conundrum which is fighting for the very heart and soul of what blogging is really about. And serving to ask the question, What is Blogging? Is it merely a commercial exercise? Or does it strike at the heart of what the internet is really about. Namely information purely for informations own sake. No matter how strange it may be…

One of the great examples of a purely weird, non commercial, blogging experience was the Battle Star Gallactica blog. Guess what it’s all about? Yep, the Battlestar Gallactica blog is all about bringing that most wonderful of science fiction programmes directly to the masses. It does this with an eclectic mix of information about the programme, its stars, and the storylines that kept us all glued to our seats over the years. And yet, it was with great regret that I recently read of the unofficial BattleStar Gallactica blog ceasing to blog! And in a way, this highlights the problem with blogging. Essentially, the reason that be Battle Star Gallactica blog was shutting up shop, was because its primary author (a gentleman called Trapper) simply no longer had the time to maintain it. What with family, work and other Web ventures. Nightmare!

One of the great things about blogging is how easy it is to do with it not requiring any great technical expertise, because most of the blogging platforms are now set up to be easy to use. But what it does require is commitment, time, and in order to be successful a fair amount of passion it has to be said. The Internet is becoming increasingly competitive, and so if anyone is going to hear what you actually have to say about a topic, then you need to be constantly providing great information that people want to read. At its heart the Internet hasn’t changed. Its a content medium, pure and simple. And if you provide great content, and do a minimal amount of marketing, then people will start to tell each other about it.

The only problem with this dichotomy is that just as something can be easy to set up, it can also be easy to let it die. In a way, the Battle Star Gallactica blog was a victim of its own success. Its author had so much to say about the subject, that he obviously felt overwhelmed by it to the extent that he was encroaching on his real-life! Oh well! Another one bites the dust ;)

Guide to Organising HDMI Cable, Cat 5 Cable, Audio and Computer Cabling

We have all been there (Or at least the gadget lovers amongst us have!). Waiting anxiously by the doormat to hear that friendly ring from the postman that means our shiny new gadget has finally arrived. Exciting stuff.

Now, if it is something small and self contained like an iPhone or an iPod then all is well with the world. You can generally just take it out of the box and figure it it out as you go along. There will be no trailing wires or cabling to mess up your tidy rooms, because thankfully, those gadgets are portable and so don’t infringe on anything much (apart from your enjoyment levels, which they will hopefully infringe on quite a lot!)

But if it is a bigger gadget purchase like a computer, a home theater system, or a new audio system then you are going to be in for much more of a shock. Because the simple fact is that these devices haven’t evolved nearly as much as you might have expected on the cabling side. You see, 10 years ago everyone was touting the potential for a ‘wireless’ age (actually at much the same time that a ‘paperless’ age was being touted, and look how far we have come with that ten years down the line!)

And in some respects strides have been made. The fact that there are now wireless networks, and that gadgets like the iPhone are actually sneaking out of the development hatches and onto the high street are certainly big steps forward. But, in reality, in many areas of gadgetry, when it comes to connecting you new, freshly delivered toy, you will find that you will be buried up to your armpits in cables.

This is especially true of home theater systems, audio systems and computers (laptops are a lot better these days, because wireless networks are becoming easier to use in that arena). And it is really an area that you need to give separate thought to, BEFORE you take delivery of your new system. Or, at the very least at the same time. Because it is very common for gadgets to be delivered WITHOUT all the cables that are required for their operation.

For example, I recently took delivery of a swanky, new DVD Player. All good so far. Equipped for the digital age this baby had hdmi connectors. The works. So it was all setup for the high definition age. Apart from one thing…

No cables!!

Now, as it happened I planned ahead, and bought a beautiful gold, connector hdmi cable at the same time as I bought the dvd player. So all was right with the world. And I was able to get playing immediately, because they were delivered at the same time. But, my point is that planning ahead really is a necessity, not a luxury these days. Gadgets used to ship without plugs! Now they ship without cables. Go figure!

So, step one, figure out what cables you need. And my advice here is to buy the very best you can afford. There is no point spending $2000 on a fab new tv, and then skimping on a $5 cable to carry the signal to it! That’s like having a Porsche to drive, but then only bothering to put three tyres on it! So, upgrade the cables to something decent. This need not cost fortunes. But spending $50 can improve the picture quality (speaking of high definition tvs here) much more then you would think. The picture will be smoother, and the sound better. So, a worthwhile investment.

Secondly, take a look at the layout of your room, and consider where cables would be least obtrusive. This is a bigger factor with audio systems, where you may need trailing wires to four corners of a room to get quadrophonic sound. But consider whether you can put the wires under carpets, or whether you can get trunking fitted, or even (for the very committed!) sink the wires in the walls, so they don’t show at all.

Thirdly, get some cable tags. These are dirt cheap, but will tidy up your workspace like you can’t believe. A $5 dollar investment in a bag of cable tags will provide dividends for your sanity down the road!

So, put these suggestions into action and start to enjoy your new gadget, without having to dwell on the cables!

How to Totally Make Your Toddler Read and Write!

As you know, toddlers are like little sponges, they soak up whatever is directed at them and knowledge is no exception. In fact, toddlers that are taught in a positive and stimulating environment, have an advantage over those that do not. They are able to read and write very early, and typically score above average in test scores.

In this article, we will teach you 10 ways to totally make your toddler read and write.

1. Create an environment that is conducive to learning. For instance, you can buy or check out library books, purchase a small desk, supplies, as well as a bulletin board. Then, set up a designated area that will be your childrens learning area. Make the area visually appealing and fun so that it will stimulate your childs learning senses.

2. Have a set time for learning sessions. Toddlers thrive on a schedule and although it will not always work out, having a set time for learning will give them something to look forward to.

3. Keep learning sessions short. Remember that toddlers have short attention spans so always keep your lessons short and sweet. The best thing that you can do is to stop the sessions before your little one tuckers out.

4. Accentuate the positive. When your child shows a willingness to learn and puts her best foot forward then reward her for her efforts. Stickers and small prizes work wonders for building self esteem in children.

5. Have the right educational tools. Currently there are all sorts of online and offline tools that you can use to teach your child. Hooked on Phonics even offers a Pre-k program that is specifically tailored to teaching toddlers to read. In addition, Baby Einstein has wonderful phonetic videos that you and your child can watch and learn.

6. Use everyday life experiences to facilitate the learning experience. For example, you do not have to wait until you are at the learning station to teach your toddler. For instance, if you see a car say car and then spell it out. When you go to the grocery store say apple and then spell it out. Make everyday opportunities learning experiences.

7. Do not put any pressure on your toddler to succeed. Do not put any pressure on your child to succeed. Simply make learning fun. This can be done by playing word and rhyming games and even educational board games.

8. Teach your children the phonetic sounds of words. That is, teach them the sounds that the letters make. This will help them develop the ability to write and read.

9. Read to your child. Toddlers love stories so make an effort to read to them every single day but do not just read the story, talk about it and then ask them to draw pictures about the story.

10. Have fun. Remember to enjoy the process. And do not get so caught up in the reading and writing process that you forget to have a fun time!

In conclusion, you are your childrens first reading and writing teacher. By making the process fun, you will set the stage for a lifetime of learning adventures.

The Fonts Secret - Why Downloading New Fonts Can Be a Refreshing Change

Fonts are a subject that most of us don’t necessarily give a great deal of thought to. But that some of us obsess over. In a way I think sometimes it’s probably the online equivalent in terms of ‘coolness’ that being a trainspotter in the ‘real’ world is! In other words, some people are big into typographics and the wonders of fonts. While other people just don’t see what all the fuss is about. They have their arial, times new roman or verdana. So who needs more?

Well, the real answer is that most websites could do with a radical re-think when it comes to their font and typography strategy. Because in reality it can play a big part in how the site looks.

Now, all of us know this intuitively. And so when someone points it out it seems as though we already ‘know that’ so why tell us again? And yet, think back to the last time that you did something as simple as write someone an email, or maybe even a letter (remember those?!) Did you use the same old verdana, arial or times new roman that you have been using for years? Or did you mix it up and genuinely do something different? My guess, and obviously it can only be a guess, because I can’t stand next to you when you type your letters! Is that you probably weren’t that adventurous when it came to the font you used.

Now, take that attitude and spread it over the internet and you have a world of websites that are all using the very same fonts. Now, this is not a slanging match against the old favorites that I have already mentioned. They are classics. A bit like Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is a ‘classic’, or ‘Hotel California’ by The Eagles is a classic. There will always be a place for sitting back and enjoying some mellow moments with fonts that you have known, trusted and loved from when you were very first born. But, my point is that you would soon get sick of Bohemian Rhapsody or Hotel California if you were forced to listen to them EVERY DAY! Man. You would be standing up and shouting….

“Give me some NEW Music to listen too.. Please!”

And the same is true with typography. You need some new fonts to get your teeth into, because variety really is the spice of life, and font designers are constantly coming up with new fonts that really are a breath of fresh air, and well worth checking out. They are a bit like finding a new band to listen too that are really cool. They give you new ideas, a fresh perspective, and brighten up your websites and design projects with new ways of looking at the world (literally, because fonts are such a visual medium).

This means that hand in hand with the content you produce, you are also making an impact in the stylistics of HOW you present the information. Now, whilst no-one wants form over substance. I ask you. Is it too much to want both at the same time?

Keep the substance. But get some new forms today of the fresh, new font variety. It will cheer you up. Cheer up your projects and help do your bit for a more varied and interesting type laden world.
