Greed Corp could possibly be the best innovative strategic war game ever designed for PSN (PlayStation Network) and XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade) platforms. Greed Corp however is mainly intended for strategic enthusiasts who can sit and play the game without becoming easily bored. For others they are definitely going to want to avoid this game simply because Greed Corp is more of the \”nerd\” type of game and a lot of patience (and free time) is needed to figure out the different strategies of the game.

The introduction video to this game is simply awesome and really colorful. Greed Corp is filled with machines and structures in a very vibrant environment. There is no particular story to follow or a main boss to counter and save the princess in Greed Corp. The game is about four major corporations fighting with each other to survive in a land with limited resources. There are many vertical hexagonal pillars on which many types of equipment are placed. Up to four players can play this online in XBLA or PSN. The goal of the game while playing multiplayer is to be the last one standing at the end holding some piece of land.

There must be continuous effort from the user`s side to maintain the land or to buy new pieces of land as hexagonal blocks won`t stay as such once it is with you. The graphics in Games Corp are not that impressive. One would agree that if there were more details in each scenario and corporation things would be a little exciting and it would also impart a much better gaming experience. There is no zooming option for the game which makes it difficult to see what is happening on the map and that too, in a very wide map, can make things extremely complicated. There is no in between slides or animations to keep the player entertained. The graphics could have been more detail oriented throughout the game to provide for a much more exciting gaming experience.

Next is the back ground musical score which is extremely marvelous and it resembles an industrial tone from the past. The music keeps you sucked in while you play with its amazing sound effects and rhythm. The sound and special effects are the highlight of this game. The music alone improves the playability of the game by keeping you focused and mesmerized all at the same time and is probably the best thing about the game overall.

In order for Greed Corp to be considered an exceptional game for strategic gaming or social gaming, the graphics and detail must be enhanced. Many changes need to come if the manufacturer decides to design a sequel to this game or a safe prediction would be that the game will bomb (not literally). One thing that is unique about this game is that Greed Corp could possibly be made into a very successful board game for the coming generations. This game has already been released and can be bought for around $10 in most gaming stores; the price definitely suits the overall quality of the game itself.

God of War II left us with an almighty cliff hanger, literally. The Titan Gaia had the Greek Kratos on her back as she scales Mount Olympus ready for the Titans v Gods showdown with Zeus etc. This has us all gagging for the next instalment, and finally it`s here.

Now when we look back on that epic ending, it is clear that the developers knew exactly where they were going, but were clever enough to leave it open to interpretation. Was GoW III set to be played on the sides of Mount Olympus, or was there to be some kind of spin-off? Both these rumors have been bandied about, and both are off the mark. Olympus does figure, but as a general area. I`m not going to go into great detail regarding the setting as there are some surprises, but suffice to say this game is fast and furious and combines puzzles, combat and platforming to make for a helluva ride.

Most of the key changes come from the setting itself, and there really are surprises around every corner. The whole thing has a more vertical feel to it, probably due to the Mount Olympus setting. You get to use old favorites that you picked up in the earlier games to help you in your ascent, such as Icarus` wings. The battles with the Titan bosses are simply stunning, and can\’t be faulted in any way.

There are many new, smaller features which greatly add to the gaming appeal, but I`m not going to go through them one by one, lest you won`t be excited when you discover them as I was! Running up walls, playing with flashlights, enemies, weapons and so much more are waiting to be unlocked and used, and they are all brilliant. A quick mention must be given to the mini games, which are a delight to play and a lot of laughs too.

The variety that has been added to the game play of God of War III and the new bosses are the highlights of this game. That is no mean feat considering that this is an absolutely terrific game and one that once you purchase it you won\’t be able to leave alone. There are two general groups that the enemies fall into; those with the Titans and those against.

I have always said the first God of War had the best story, and that God of War II had the best combat, so I have to say that this latest instalment is a combination of both so therefore is my favourite of the Trilogy, and a fitting finale to this hugely successful franchise. I really can\’t find anything to complain about, and those of you who are acquainted with my games reviews will know that is something which I don\’t say very often! I am awarding, for only the second time ever, this game a rating of 10. I can\’t find any flaws and nowhere for improvements to be made. Well done to all concerned.
