The single most problematic mistake made by many Vemma distributors is that when they actually start growing in their business, they don’t train their team in a way that produces. Too often, Vemma distributors assume that they can just get started, recruit a bunch of people, and that they will automatically start getting huge monthly residual checks.

Another common mistake is that people take too much time training their new team members, and as a result their personal production falters over time. If you want long term Vemma success, you need to learn how to have a balance between training new team members and continuing to recruit and produce personally.

Vemma has a binary compensation plan, which means that you only need two strong teams to make it to the top income levels in the company. However, just because you only have to build two teams doesn’t mean that you can build a Vemma business by only recruiting and training two people. If your team doesn’t see you personally producing, they will stop producing themselves. Let me give you 3 tips that will help you stay on task, and train your Vemma team at the same time.

That, if anything, is the key to building long term wealth in your Vemma business. You’ve got to learn how to balance a fine line of productivity, culture, and personal development into your growing and profitable Vemma organization.

1. You need to concentrate eighty percent or more of your attention on sponsoring new Vemma reps into your organization. If you’re focused on anything but recruiting, your team will copy you and stop recruiting themselves. The first step to training your Vemma team is to set an example by producing enough personally.

2. 19% of your focus should be on getting new people started and giving them training and instructions on what to do next. If you focus too much of your attention on new people, you won’t have time to be productive in your business, but if you don’t put enough energy into them, they’ll never get the details of the business and they’ll quit before they start. Most of your training should revolve around proven methods to sponsor new distributors, since that is the lifeblood of your whole Vemma business.

3. Less than 1% of your focus should be on unproductive activities, and you should outsource as many details as you can to people who will take care of them for you. This is one of the most important things that leaders do in Vemma, they stay focused on production by allowing details to be handled by the company and the customer support team. The only way to stay focused on building a business is to outsource the details to others.

If you would pay attention, you would see that I’ve allotted 99% of your business building attention to business building activities. If you ever intend on creating a significant passive income in Vemma, you’ll follow my advice here and you’ll be dramatically better off because of it.

A lot of people have been asking me how I’ve produced such quick results with my online business, and one of the things that has helped dramatically is that all of a sudden a few weeks back, there was an unbelievable EXPLOSION of testimonials about me.

So how did I get more than 157 video testimonials in a couple of weeks? Simple, really. This is something that I’m surprised a lot of other trainers haven’t done in their own personal businesses.

I was asked about a month ago by a leading internet marketer, Brian Fanale, how I was generating results so fast with my free online marketing methods. He was so blown away by what I told him that he asked me if I would be willing to train his entire marketing list on how I was creating such dramatic results with such a low marketing budget.

Well, I agreed to do the call under 2 conditions. The first thing I asked was that I get to market one of my affiliate products on the Webinar, which he was quick to let me do. (This is a product that I really believe in and use every single day.)

To make a long story short, I was using a secret traffic creation strategy that at first I was a little hesitant to share, but I agreed to teach it for free, if Brian allowed me to ask for a video testimonial in exchange from everyone who got real value out of my webinar. This might seem like a strange thing to ask for someone who’s not an experienced marketer, but those of you who have been online for a while are thinking ‘holy smokes, that’s smart.‘

Now, let me preface this with one thing, if you try anything like this to get video testimonials, it won’t work unless you provide real value to your list for free. (You can’t just sell people all the time, they won’t want to hear from you ever again if you do that). Here’s essentially what I did, I gave away EVERYTHING I was doing to people for free, in exchange for video testimonials.

Some people might shun asking for video testimonials in exchange for a training. Here’s what makes it legitimate, though. I asked people to only give me a testimonial if I actually benefited them in their business.

That way, I would only get real, live examples of what was working for others.

I was expecting about 50 video testimonials, and I got almost 200! Then, what I did was download them off of YouTube and I’ve been systematically broadcasting them across video sharing sites. Let me share with you WHY I’ve been doing what I’ve been doing. The reason I wanted to share this with you is because you can use this right away and do something like this with your own list, and if you’ve got a decent sized email list you can really get some fantastic results.

1. Video testimonials create social proof, and eliminate ’sales resistance’. Essentially, if people take a look at your site and it’s filled with people raving about how awesome you are, people will immediately trust your recommendations more. If you actually take the time to call leads you get, they’re like ‘holy smokes, this person with all the testimonials actually called me… I must be special.’ THAT is the most powerful reason to use them on your websites.

2. Video testimonials create backlinks and ‘buzz’ about your website. What I’m doing is broadcasting 1-2 testimonials every couple of days with a video broadcasting service, and so there’s a constant fresh flow of positive information about me on the internet. So anyone looking for me in YouTube or asking questions about me online is now going to have an almost unlimited amount of raving reviews.

3. Video testimonials give other people a chance to promote themselves on your website. Essentially, someone who has a featured testimonial on a high trafficked site is going to get massive value and social validation for their own marketing system, giving them a greater power to recruit and market products online. This is the biggest reason why you should be quick to rave about other people online and let them know about it. If somebody has a product that you love, tell them in a video and post it on YouTube. People will find your video when searching for them and visit your site, giving you a free, permanent flow of traffic.

Overall, I would say that since I’ve been using video testimonials, my results from everything I’ve done have increased by three times. I wanted to add one word of caution, though. The FTC has recently issued new guidelines for testimonials, and you want to steer clear of any kind of income claims. Even if they’re true, you can get in big trouble. Instead of that, just have people share their positive experiences with you. Here’s the main key to success with video testimonials: ask your customers for them, and reward them with a valuable gift of some kind if they do. You’ll increase your results in no time at all.

Quite frankly, there are a lot of positives and negatives to building MLM organizations online, and many people don’t understand what it really takes to prosper in a company using technology to market themselves online. First, let me give you an idea of where I’ve come from in the MLM world.

I got started in the MLM profession 7 years ago and I went through five years of painful business building experiences because I was taught how to do things that didn’t jive with my personality. Personally, flying all around the world doing meetings five nights a week just isn’t my definition of abundance, and that’s not what I wanted to create, so I needed a different way.

Rather than building a list of friends and family, you can leverage yourself through creating a tidal wave of social interactions that happen automatically, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. For example, last month I had more than 30,000 visitors to my websites. I don’t think there’s any way that I could create that kind of exposure offline without paying an arm and a leg for traffic, and I certainly couldn’t do it by wandering around in Safeway…

So how do you enter the online world of MLM and become successful? It’s simple. All you’ve got to do is learn how to provide legitimate, lasting value to as many people as possible, and people will be attracted to working with you automatically, regardless of anything else that you do.

It’s as simple as that. For myself, I learned that I had gained an incredible amount of knowledge during my time offline building my business that translated into solutions to problems people were having online, so I took that knowledge and I conveyed it by writing articles, making videos, and sending empowering emails to people who subscribed to my list. Within two months, my phone was ringing off the hook all day and night with people who wanted to work with me.

So ask yourself the question: What value can you provide that will set you apart? What are your strengths? Are you analytical? Do you know how to manage your time extraordinarily well? Do you know how to do powerful presentations or are you better at writing?

Knowing who you are is half the battle. Find your strengths and make a plan to expose the online world to the power of YOU, and you’ll go in the right direction, and get there faster than you can imagine.

Vemma can be a lucrative opportunity if you know how to take advantage of modern day recruiting methods. However, if you don’t understand the basic principles of network marketing success, then you’re going to run into problems when you’re building your team. I wanted to give you five quick tips that will dramatically increase your Vemma success.

Vemma success tip #1: Make a commitment that you’re going to stick with your Vemma business for a minimum of one year or more when you get started in your marketing efforts. Recently, I sponsored a distributor into my business who has been a professional painter his whole life. Although he’s had a successful background in his adult life, he’s never done any kind of network marketing before. Expect a learning curve of 3-6 months to learn everything you need to know to be successful, and don’t look back until you’ve created at least a basic level of success.

Vemma success tip #2: Understand that in Vemma, you only make money from 3 things (regardless of what anyone says). You make money from recruiting distributors, selling products, and organizational production. Don’t participate in any activity, ever that won’t make you money. This is a business, not a charity, and it’s not a school. You need to stay focused on core business building activities, which are recruiting and marketing product.

Vemma success tip #3: Learn how you can market your business professionally in a way that attracts customers to you. It’s kind of funny, but I sponsored a guy into my downline last week who has spent 19 years marketing his real estate business to where his customers call him, and then he got involved in the MLM profession and started chasing his friends and family to get involved. I had a conversation with him about it and when he realized what he was doing, he broke down laughing. Learn how to attract people into your business by positioning your business in front of people who are already looking for what you have, and it takes convincing out of your business equation.

Vemma success tip #4: I mentioned before that you should be focusing on sales and recruiting, and let me clarify that for you. You need to have a goal of personally recruiting at least one new distributor per day into your business for the next year. If you sponsor one new team member per day, you’ll reach critical momentum so fast you won’t even be able to keep track of what’s going on. Focus 90% of your energy first on marketing to attract prospects to you, then on sponsoring to draw talent into your organization and your business will absolutely explode.

Vemma success tip $5: Get a system set in place that trains your new people for you on how to create wealth through this opportunity. If you don’t have a team system, you’re going to experience frustration, doubt, and your team won’t be able to grow quickly in the earliest stages of its development. Get a system that teaches people how to market, generate leads, follow up with prospects, and enroll new distributors and then get to work. It’s amazing how much a simple duplicable system will make a difference, and you’ll be well on your way to massive Vemma success.

The foundational concept is simply to be yourself. Both search engines and article directories love original content and will reward you for it.

3. Make your opt in box specifically targeted towards the audience that you’re marketing to. In other words, don’t have an article about pony training and then try to sell a business opportunity to your readers. This not only annoys article directories, it simply doesn’t work very well. I know that’s a dramatic example, but you get the point.

4. Promote your content in as many legitimate channels as you can. This is actually the secret that allowed me to create massive traffic and visitors to my site in such a short time. I promote every article I create with videos, article syndication, social bookmarking, and I broadcast it on my twitter and facebook accounts. The social networks, video sharing sites, social bookmarkers, and article syndication gives me immediate traffic before my rankings kick in, and it makes everything I do dramatically more effective. I suggest you try it.
